I’ll admit it, I love Alberta! Probably because I was born and raised in Calgary. I love the rolling hills and being able to drive an hour west to view the mountains. I have lots of family all over Alberta and recently went for a much needed holiday and visit.
One of the highlight’s for me was finding wild horses with my uncle and aunt. First time for us. I’m so glad I brought my camera, but next time I’ll bring a little longer lens, as It’s not a good idea to get to close, especially when there’s colts in the herd.

We saw about 30 horses in the herd, these are just sections of them, and some of them were a little curious about us.

Just beautiful shiny coats on them, hard to believe these are wild.

We were shocked to see a couple colts in the herd, as the coyote’s usually have them for breakfast!

Memories to cherish for a life time….
